To Uninstall PowerSettings, run the uninstall script from add/remove programs - but make sure the popup menu and PowerSettings is not running! |

Some of the new functions in PowerSettings are only available in Windows 98, although most of them are visible. Highlight the item you are having problems with and hit F1, or press the questionmark and click the item to read about the function. |

PowerSettings has been tested, and designed to run on Microsoft Windows 95/98 and to some extension Windows ME. Some Compaq, HP or IBM versions of Windows, seem to have an error, which causes PowerSettings to fail. To fix this error you should use a clean installation from Microsoft. |

PowerSettings has a built in systemcheck, so if your computer gets infected with a virus, or PowerSettings is altered it won't start. |
 | The Calendar doesn't change when I start Windows? |

Check to see if the "Enable Calendar" and "Set as wallpaper" are checked under the reminder, and that the "Execute PowerSettings commands at startup" is checked under startup. If You have moved or reinstalled Wintrasher/PowerSettings at a different location, please uncheck the "Execute PowerSettings commands at startup", press save and exit and the enable the function again to update the settings. |

PowerSettings works on all version of Windows that are build on Windows9x technoligy. Therefore it should run fine under WindowsME aswell ( NOTE: not all functions are available in WindowsME ). We will nok make versions for the NT/2000/XP platform, as most of the functions aren't even available in this operating system. |

No we will not make country specific versions of PowerSettings. It would be far too much time consuming. |
